I have been a fan of fried chicken wings since I was a kid. It is a must-have food in every football seasons, when all my family members gather to watch the game and drink beers every weekend. My mom is a great cook. I always believe her fried chicken wings are the best, as she makes it in a special and very complicated way, that she has experimented for years. Therefore, I rarely make it myself due to my busy schedule (yes! and my laziness).
Two month ago, I came to my friend’s apartment in Stillwater, Oklahoma to watch an NBA game. We was planning to stop by buffalo wild wings to get some food, but another friend of mine, Taylor, said she can make chicken wing very fast by her new air fryer. I didn’t believe in these chicken wings until I tried it. I got a big surprise. Today, I will show you some simple steps to cook fast and delicious chicken wings.
Estimated time cook: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings
- Self raising flour
- Real Butter
- Hot sauce
Direction:
Step 1: Cut tip of wings and discard cut at the central joint to create two pieces.
Step 2: Wash fresh chicken thoroughly.
Step 3: Coat the wings with self-raising flour
Step 4: Add the wings to the basket and shake well
Step 5: Pre-heat the air fryer at 180 degree Celsius in 2 minutes
Step 6: Place the basket in the air fryer, set temperature to 180 degree and timer to 25 minutes.
Step 7: Remove the basket every 5 minutes and shake
It’s super easy, isn’t it? After 25 minutes, you will get crispy golden brown chicken wings. However, wait for 10 more minutes and your wings will be even nicer.
Now, it’s time to make the sauce.
Step 1: Melt butter over a medium heat
Step 2: Once melted, mix it with hot sauce and pour it to cooked chicken in the fryer
Now, your chicken wings are ready. Enjoy!!!
